Rock & Roll with Dio and Big2 - The story behind Dio's debut album, produced by Geuren & Kleuren Media

Dio's debut album Rock & Roll was released in 2009 and became a classic in Dutch hip hop. Produced by Big2, the album features guest appearances by The Opposites, Sef, Sjaak, and De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, and spawned hits such as Het is je boy and Tijdmachine.

Now, 17 years later, Rock & Roll is being released on vinyl for the first time. It comes with an extra: an exclusive podcast. Together with Big2 and his former and current management, Dio looks back on the making of the album. He talks about the search for his own sound, the stories behind the songs, and the energy of that period.

The podcast was initially only available on the vinyl release, but is now available for everyone to stream. This brings an important piece of Dutch hip hop back into the spotlight.
