Why do we endlessly analyze our relationships in our heads?

Why does it sometimes feel like you need to do something extraordinary with your life, without knowing exactly what?

And how do you deal with the feeling that modern life can simply be… a lot?

In the new podcast Denkstof, Geraldine Kemper and Etienne Boonen explore the mental themes young adults are navigating today.

Each episode begins with a current psychological topic, inspired by news, research or online trends, and is further explored together with experts. From psychiatrists to relationship therapists, different perspectives help uncover what lies beneath the surface.

Alongside these expert conversations, the hosts share their own thoughts, doubts and experiences. The result is not a set of clear-cut answers, but a layered conversation that leaves space for recognition and nuance.

At a time when young adults are overwhelmed by expectations, information and constant stimuli, the need for these kinds of conversations continues to grow. At the same time, access to mental health support remains difficult, with long waiting lists and high thresholds. Denkstof does not offer solutions, but provides context, language and a sense of recognition.
